Badr Moawad
Professor and Consultant Dermatologist with over 35 years’
experience in the field, with particular expertise in the area of cosmetic
dermatology. Years of dedication, extensive research and experience, and author
of numerous published articles on laser surgery and skin disease, brings
recognition among peers as a renowned dermatologist and expert in cosmetic
laser surgery.
Prof. Osama Badr Moawad, founding Executive Director of Moawad Skin Institute (MSI) ,a
member of the American Academy of Dermatologists in addition to 13 other
scientific organizations, serves on the advisory board of several medical
journals, and is an influential guest speaker at many national and
international conferences. In addition to his practice at Moawad Skin Institute
MSI) Prof. Moawad is a consultant to organizations in both public and private sectors
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- First
dermatologist in the Middle East to use pulsed dye lasers to treat both
vascular and pigmented skin lesions; successfully treating thousands of
patients since 1994.
- Established the
first laser unit at the SecurityForcesHospital (Riyadh), Saudi Arabia, changing
the fate for many patients and bringing national recognition from colleagues
and peers.
- Established the
first Medical SPA in Egypt.
